March 31, 1732 - Rohrau, Áustria - Joseph Haydn is born
January(?) 1(?), 1738 - Hainburg - Haydn starts studying in Hainburg, near the hungarian border
January(?) 1(?), 1740 - Vienna - Haydn is taken to Vienna as member of a children's choir
January(?) 1(?), 1749 - Vienna - Haydn is dismissed from the Choir, because of his changing voice and an incidente with another chorister
January(?) 1(?), 1751 - Vienna - Haydn composes his first opera, "Der Krumme Teufel" =(START)
January(?) 1(?), 1752 - Vienna - After several minor Jobs, Haydn becomes valet–accompanist for the Italian composer Nicola Porpora
January(?) 1(?), 1754 - Vienna - Works for two years at the Austrian Court, in Vienna

December 26, 1803 - Eisenstadt - Haydn's last presentation, with "the seven last words"
March 27, 1808 - Eisenstadt - Performance of "the Creation" in his honor. The frail Haydn is brought to listen to it
May 10, 1809 - Vienna - French troops bombard Haydn's neighbourhood
May 13, 1809 - Vienna - The austrian capital falls in french hands
May 17, 1809 - Vienna - A french officer, Sulémy, visits Haydn to pay his respects and sing one of Haydn's "The Creation" arias for the old composer
May 26, 1809 - Vienna - Haydn plays the "Emperor's Hymn" with renewed spirit, but colapses in the same night
